Permanent exhibition “Keerdkäigud” / Twists and Turns” has a shape of a labyrinth, that gives a possibility to move through intriguing space of difficult times in Estonian history. It is an immersive experience inspired by the building’s facade design “UURE”. Long and narrow atrium space favours the concept of presenting all the exhibits in a narrative order through the years of 1917 – 1920. Amalie Planken’s diary entries creates a red threat through the exhibition how she observes the changes in the world, the birth of Estonia and the lives of fellow estonians.
