The project is focusing on Brussels residential areas which still carry the unfulfilled ideas of Utopian ideal societies and has become monuments of their time.

Fascinating architecture of cité’s carries dreams and hopes for a better life as well as reflects the values, possibilities and modern way of thinking from the time when they were built.

The architecture of districts symbolises socialistic ideas to reunite man within a well-ordered environment and nature. The districts can also be seen as a result of World War I, II, where architecture has been central to manufacturing a new vision of society, built with the bold and radical look to the future for a ‘progressive people’. Over the times the ideas hasn’t become norms and nowadays the areas still stick up as exceptions.
